10 Things I Learned While Flying Abroad

To inform you all, I made it to Sevilla about 3 days ago. But this post isn't about the super cool things I have already done.. It's about the multiple things I learned while flying on my way to get here.

1. The gourmet swiss cheese's (that they give you for dinner) first ingredient is cheddar cheese. I guess that's what makes it gourmet...

2. You eat dinner, then you eat breakfast like 4 hours later. Super weird, but I was getting hungry...

3. They different channels for the tv has the movie in different languages. I missed all of "Wolverine" because I thought it was in French...

4. You may/will get lost in the airport in Paris. Terminal 3 was not even connected to the others and our flight number was not listed...

5. The 4 weeks of French I took with Mrs. Chappell in 7th grade did not help at all. Thankfully everyone spoke English...

6. The one good thing about the airport in Paris, was that I did not have to take my shoes off for security. I just walked right on through...

7. When I landed in Paris, it was about 7:00am there, however, it was only midnight at home. I was ready for a drink...

8. There was free Wi-Fi in every airport that I landed in, but not over the ocean. Something should be done about this...

9. The airport in Barcelona is just like a mall. I wish I could have stayed there longer...

10. Make friends with the people that are around you. It passes the time and you learn new things...

Overall, everything worked out nicely. I made all my flights and landed safe and sound in Sevilla on Sunday afternoon. I am super excited to be here and have really enjoyed it so far. The other students are already great fun, and we are getting along very well.

Hasta Luego,
